Animal Adoption Success Story: Bubba

Bubba is a 17-year-old cockatiel who arrived at our rescue after his owner became too ill to continue caring for him. Fortunately, we were able to place Bubba with foster parents who had experience with birds. Before long, his foster parents fell in love with him and decided to adopt him.

Today, Bubba enjoys sitting in the sun and perching on his owner’s shoulder to receive his evening snack. We were fortunate enough to be able to share Bubba’s adoption success with his original owner before she passed away, which gave her the peace of mind that comes from knowing a beloved companion will receive love and attention for the rest of their life.
